The Gatewood Martin Mansion Foundation’s focus is on the preservation, restoration, and education of the unique history of the Martin Mansion, located in the heart of Ghent.

This Georgian Mansion hosted the beginning of landmark education, government policy, and international port commerce that would have a resounding effect on the city of Norfolk for decades. To ensure the preservation of this historic property for future generations to enjoy, the development of the Gatewood Martin Foundation is currently underway.
